Every once in long while you come across an image that strikes you, one that makes you feel something, an actual psychological emotional response. Today, this is that image. I found Hannes Caspar's website and started "flipping" through the images when I came across this beauty. There is something so pure about it, something so real in the expression. Maybe it's the contrast of the delicate sheen in his eyes to the rough and unforgiving exterior of his aged skin, maybe it's in the context as it's displayed on the same page with younger, more naive faces that have yet to understand the effects of time, or maybe it's just so honest that I cannot help but to feel moved. Either way, there is a sense of understanding present, a reality contrived only from pure intentions.
